Jazzy is a very well put together chestnut tobiano paint mare. She has a beautiful face and head and strong movement. Jazzy is our lead mare, and constantly watches over her herd. She is a highly intelligent, highly sensitive mare that is always aware of what is going on around her. She is a pleasure to ride and has the most amazing foals. Jazzy's first foal for us was an absolutely gorgeous bay tobiano with amazing markings, conformation and movement. It is heartbreaking that we lost her little girl - she is bred again for 2009 to the World Champion Friesian stallion Zorro though and should make another super baby! Laini is our grulla mare. She has stunning dun factor in every possible place it can be. She's got the amazing leg bars and dorsal stripe, the cobwebbing on the face, shoulder shading and more. She's a beautiful slate grey color and will be tested by UCDavis for dun zygosity and the possibility of a cream gene. Laini had a beautiful filly this year that is has the nicest conformation and movement. Her filly will actually walk across the pasture to visit someone. She is completely trusting of people, and accepts new things very easily. We aren't sure what color she is going to be yet, and her price reflects that. Lyrical as we call her, is for sale. Beau is a very well bred and put together quarter horse mare. We were incredibly impressed this year with the bay filly that she had. This mare is one of those rare horses that "never does anything wrong." She is incredibly sweet, and loves her attention. This is a mare you lead around with just a hand on her, and is one of the few horses I have ever met that you can truly trust. She has wonderful conformation, and her filly this year was stunning. Beau was left open this year as we consider whether or not to retire her due to abuse she suffered before she came to Fall Meadows. Her half friesian filly is for sale on our sale page. SOLD!!! |

Chili is our own daughter of Ima Cool Skip. This is a huge, magnificantly put together mare. She has, without question, the best foals here at Fall Meadows. Her foals are consistently incredible. 2 years ago she gave us a beautiful colt, and again this year. Both her babies are sold. Chili is bred for 2009 to the Friesian stallion Hessel - an own son of Feitse Preferrant. Chili will be offered for sale after her foal is born. She is offered for 3,000. Lady is without a doubt the best mare that we have conformationally. Its damn hard to pick on her anywhere, and she combines this with the most amazingly kind and gentle personality that she's made herself one of our very favorites. She is exceptionally well bred, being a granddaughter of Ima Cool. She has a massive hip, board back, gorgeous head and neck, clean straight legs, great hocks and heartgirth plus a huge kind eye. She is in foal to the World Champion Friesian stallion Zorro for 2009. She had an athletic, charismatic bay colt this year that promises to make someone a wonderful partner. Rio is a conclusive bred red dun mare that just joined our program this year. She came to us with a dynamite red dun colt on her side which you can see on the for sale page. Ziva is my first purebred Friesian. She is a second premie yearling filly. Her sire is the approved Stallion Ljibbe's Valour. Her dam is good star mare Victoria owned by Carisbrooke Farms. Ziva is everything that comes to mind when the fairy tale of the Friesian is told. She is kind and gentle... she would rather be with people than other horses. She is patient and so very intelligent. She has excellent conformation and we are hopeful that she will make Ster status when she is three years old. Ziva should be huge - topping out likely around 16.3. She is our foundation mare, and we can't wait for the future to unfold for her! I waited 26 years for this one - you could say she's a 'permanent hire'. We are very proud to add this mare to our program this year! Nala is a gorgeous 1/2 arabian, 1/2 paint. She stands 15.2 and has wonderful conformation. Nala is extremely kind and her personality is a gorgeous as her dazzling golden color. We are very excited to see what she produces for us in the future. |

Echo is our newest addition, and what a filly she is! Echo is 7/8 arabian and 1/8 paint. She is just 2 years old, so not entering the program just yet, but she will in the future. This is truly a princess! Everything about her is feminine and glitzy. She is gorgeous to look at and a true pleasure to work with. We are extremely excited for this filly's future here at Fall Meadows!! |

November Rain, or "Rainie" as we call her, was born in early June, and is a stunning grulla filly with NO white! She is out of our grulla mare Laini, and the amazing stallion Zorro SPORT. She is not for sale.
